- I missed the original message; but in OS/2, provided you set the
- priority of the applications right; you can have your terminal program/BBS
- whatever have more priority so that your game pauses while the machine
- attends to communicating with the other user..

- To do that, I use a software called NICE.. You start your BBS with:
- NICE /C BBS
- or,
- NICE /C TELIX
- (or whatever you use..)

- and that keeps that application in the 'time-critical' so that it will
- steal CPU from other running programs whenever it needs to. This will
- work for DOS programs as well; running under OS/2.. Such as:
- NICE /C PCPLUSTD
- NICE /C QMODEM
- ..whatever..
